Hotel Punta Scario

If you are not guest of the hotel but if you look for a fabulous sunset 🌇 with a huge selection of cocktails and drinks, Punto Scario is the place to be. In a nice atmosphere, on a terrace overlooking the Malfa and at the horizon the islands🏝 of Stromboli and Panarea. If you are lucky and the sea 🌊 is calm you have the blue of the sky is fading with shades of blue into the blue of the sea and both become one. However, I love the sunset time, when the light of sun turns from bright yellow into a warm orange red light. You are able to appreciate this magical sunset and its warm light on the terrace of Punto Scario. On one side the green mountain ⛰ and on the other side the sea 🌊 The sunset is accompanied with a decent music which fits absolutely to the atmosphere. All the guests, in groups or in couples are mainly overwhelmed by tbe spectacle of nature. Most whisper when they talk because of this special atmosphere. When the sun has fully disappeared the voices come to regular and people start to talk under each other. Before, everyone wants to enjoy this gorgeous moment. The staff is extremely nice, the team behind the bar professional, kind and flexible. The cocktails are delicious and they come along with some finger foods. My recommendation: Let the team know your preferences and tbey will mix you a wonderful drink 🍹 Conclusion : if you want to enjoy a gorgeous sunset in a romantic, calm and decent atmosphere while having a delightful relaxing time, Punto Scario is the best place.

The best place to stay on the Island of Salina! We were here 6 days and loved every minute of it. Malfa was our favourite town on the island so being central to it was amazing. Staff were incredibly helpful, and you have everything at your fingertips (including a restaurant at the hotel and rooftop bar) Thank you to Valentina and the rest of the Hotel Punta Scario team for making our week so memorable!
